Featuring a straight-through design, the Track Edition Exhaust revamps the Jetta 1.8T attitude by replacing the rear 180 Technology™ resonator with a straight pipe section, providing a more pronounced, aggressive tone in the mid range without being boomy in the cabin. This product cannot be returned or exchanged based upon volume preference, choose wisely! When it comes to tips, the Track Edition finishes off with 90mm slash-cut tips, featuring the AWE logo, so they know what team you're on. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. They're also double walled to ensure a mirror finish - even under hard usage. Installed on a 2.0 liter Subaru Impreza. I drive up/down the I5 in california 3-4 times a year. For those that don't know there is about a 200 mile flat stretch where everyone runs at 75-85mph. With various filters (FRAM, BOSCH, Subaru OEM), I would consistently get 29.8 mpg. Once I installed the K&N, I could feel the car pulling with a bit more power, but I noticed that I was getting about 27.5 mpg. Totally worth it as the impreza is a little under powered and I don't drive many miles (6k/year) but if you are putting a lot of miles on your car, you may want to have more mpg.

I've got nothing against dealership OEM parts and pieces but what I do have an issue with is the prices. This filter and it's matching cabin filter are excellent in value and take less than 5 minutes to replace.
